Make the visitor feel at home and comfortable was the request of the client, owner of Stratakis jewelry store in Kolonaki, downtown Athens. This was achieved through warm colours and lighting, focussing on the selective choice of jewelry on display as well as the choice of raw materials such as concrete, natural wood and unpainted metal.
The perforated metal panels that form the background of the display units and the screens of the external windows play a role in ensuring both privacy and safety. The window elements pivot all together using a custom hinge system to switch from daytime to nighttime mode.
